Recently after July 13th bombings in Mumbai, many people on Facebook and Twitter vented their anger out. But, my cousin posted a funny message that reads like “Future news: Kasab dies @ age of 85 in jail due 2 old age”. Though this sounds sarcastic and funny, I felt that it has got some have very valid points. Neither am I a political analyst nor a politician. So, for sure I am not going to talk about root cause problems behind cross border terrorism or terrorism in our own country. Like many of you, I am just a common man observing things with the help of “media”. (But is it really worth believing media? Fine, I am telling myself “no tangential discussions on media, Srinath! Mind your own business ;-) ”). Okay, let us come back to Kasab dying @ age of 85 in jail news. That means our Indian Government is never going to close his case and at the same time allow him to stay as a national guest as long he is hale and healthy. Well, it is indeed wonderful humanitarian gesture from a land of high values and traditions. But how come a terrorist, though he is a human being, gets such a treatment is the question that is on the minds of many Indians. If we ever try to answer this question, the finger points to our politicians, our system and finally our democracy. Let us see how! Chronology of events that generally happen now a days after terror attacks is like this.
• Terror attack happens somewhere causing severe damage and causalities.
• Government and Politicians cry over media, netizens cry over social networking websites and others either read newspaper or watch TV.
• Enquiry starts and high power committee will be set up to suggest counter terror measures. Terms like National Security Agency, internal security, confidence building measures make round in media.
• Right wing political parties like BJP, Shiv Sena start shouting that it is all because of communal forces. They forget that terror attacks happened even when they were in power.
• Leftists, to encounter BJP-like parties, point out that people like Narendra Modi are the real terrorists. They say first punish the terrorists within our own country.
• People like Digvijay Singh from Congress, the Party that boasts of giving us Father of nation, twist their tongue in all possible directions and add more angles to the issue.
• The actual issue of terror attacks gets diluted because of our “democratic (here democratic means diversity of views, that’s all :-) ) political system” .
• Slowly the issue calms down and public get confused to believe anyone’s words. It eventually gets erased from public memory also.
• When all these events happen, terror groups will not sit quiet. They get a chance to understand beauty of our democracy, psychology and opportunistic nature of our politicians, ineffectiveness of our system and helplessness of our nation. They get ready to plan one more attack. They turn pretty sure that no Government can punish them.
I am sorry if you understood the last point wrongly. It is not my wish but a sad, harsh and brutal reality. From childhood I have been sincerely wishing there should be no more terror attacks or bomb blasts or communal clashes. In fact I am sure all of us wished for that. But, there are two things that never allowed our wish to become a reality. Those two are, will power of politicians, that is not as strong as our wish and the other one is will power of terrorists, that is always is stronger than our wish.
I am not a supporter of any party so to hell with all the politicians. For me, my life and lives of my brothers and sisters are important. Prosperity of my nation is important. But, if I close my eyes and question myself if it is really possible, the finger again points to “our politicians, our system and finally our democracy”.

Truth is visible to All.......We are all are just watching until we leave this attitude may be lord Shiva or Krishna may come with one more Avatar to rescue all of us. Terrorism starts at home....? Irritating your own wife including other's wife also,Kids or parents at old age or a nieghbor all are different kind of Terror. One is chemical bomb later one is natural bomb. So unless each person changes his life style and attitude this is a endless story no solution. Each person acts like a super Roudy or a Terrorist on the road with others. These unkown terrorist or terrorism is ok to tolerate than " Our own people! or our own Neighbor! or our own state person! in My Own INDIA acting without humanity with others".
